Buy-ins are usually 25 bucks, so being aggressive is often a great tactic here. Generally, you’ll be able to apply regular poker strategies, though there are some tips that we’d give for Red Dead Online Poker specifically.
Playing poker in Red Dead Online can be a good way to make some easy money, if you’re able to win that is. This will get you into a game quickly, and you’ll be able to buy in at the next available hand. From here you can buy into a Public game, which will throw you into matchmaking with other players. To start a Poker game, simply walk into a Saloon which has the Poker icon on it, and make your way to the table.
It can be triggered at various saloons around the map, or from the mission start menu. Poker was added to Red Dead Online on May 14, as part of an update to bring the game out of beta testing.
